Stewart Manger graduated
from Trinity college and moved to London to work in general valuations
and the furniture department at Sotheby's Auction house. After returning
to New York to work in the European Furniture department at Christie's,
he studied in the Decorative Arts program at The Bard Graduate Center.
He then worked as a contributing editor for Elle Decor magazine, before
he became a senior designer with David Easton, Inc. In August 2001 he
was featured on the cover of House Beautiful. His work has also appeared
in Elle Decor and Interior Design magazines. He has participated in
both the Kip's Bay showhouse and the Hampton Designer Showhouse. Stewart
went on to become a senior designer with David Kleinberg Design Associates,
where he completed projects in New York, Greenwich, Palm Beach and Antigua.
